SAE International today announced that COMVEC ™ 2021 will be held directly in Rosemont, Illinois, and in effect on September 14-16, 2021. The face-to-face part of the event convenes participants and gives them the opportunity to discuss important topics. The commercial vehicle industry is facing the future of energy, sustainability and commercial vehicle transportation.

COMVEC 2021 is a gathering place for engineering professionals around the world seeking new energy balance and transportation solutions across the highway, agriculture, construction, industry, military and mining sectors. Philip Stephenson, General Manager of PACCAR Technical Center. Dr. Stephenson leads a team responsible for product verification of Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks, and development, calibration testing, and customer support for PACCAR powertrains for North America.
Michael Belube, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Transport, Department of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, US Department of Energy. Berube has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a particular focus on environmental compliance, energy and safety policies, product development and marketing.
Chris Atkinson, Sc.D. , Director of the Smart Mobility Initiative, Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering at Ohio State University. Prior to working in Ohio, he was Program Director at the US Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy.
