Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: Game Complete Edition will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Stadia platforms on January 14, 2021.
The announcement of the game’s release was made by Ubisoft through a post on the game’s Facebook page.
The 2010 game remaster was officially announced at Ubisoft’s second Forward event in September, just one month after the game’s 10th anniversary. It was planned to be released during the holiday season at the time, but now it seems to be late and will be released very early in 2021.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the 2D side-scrolling action was released in conjunction with Edgar Wright’s movie based on the cartoon of the same name. At that time, it was well reviewed by critics and lovingly remembered by anyone else who played it at that time and for the next few years.
In December 2014, fans of the original game noticed that the game was delisted on the PS3 and Xbox 360 digital stores. Fans then immediately begged Ubisoft to release the game on its current platform, which Ubisoft responded to over five years later.
Upon arrival, the full version will include a remastered version of the original game and two DLC packs. Knife Chau and Wallace Wells.
