Search bar placement and design changes have been tested in the Google app

Behind the scenes changes are happening for popular people Google App.according to Michelle Rahman, Former Editor-in-Chief XDA Currently, members of the Google News Telegram group, Esper’s senior technical editor, are reviewing the various placements and designs of the Google app’s search bar. These changes have both positive and negative aspects.
For example, a design change puts your profile picture in the search bar of the Google app and allows you to tap it to access your settings (see the image at the top of this article). Of course, the downside here is that the search bar is located at the top of the display, so you’ll need Jimi Hendrix’s legendary finger to get there. The settings and search bar integration is the same as in Gmail and the Google Play store.

Another change being tested is to move the search bar to the bottom of the display. However, the image shows that this test does not integrate access to the user’s profile picture, that is, Google app settings, within the search bar.

Google loves to run so-called A / B tests. In this case, assume that some Android users get a new search bar with integrated configuration access at the top of the screen, while others get a version with a search bar. Located at the bottom of the display where the settings are not integrated.

After the test has been run for a period of time, Google will grill Android users to find the “A” or “B” that they want to be permanent. Which changes will Google choose, or will it decide to keep the status quo? For now, that’s everyone’s guess.
