See inside Matthew Perry’s $ 13.1 million Malibu Beach House

“Friends” Matthew Perry found a buyer who was there for him. He succeeded in selling a beachhouse in Malibu, California for $ 13.1 million.

Perry initially listed “Kick-Ass Malibu’s House” for $ 14.95 million in August when he called his place on social media. In September, the actor lowered the asking price by $ 1 million to $ 13.95 million.

After that, he finally reduced the price to $ 12.95 million again. The reduction has attracted buyers. The buyer scooped up a swanky space a bit beyond the demands.

The price has fallen below his initial asking price, but Perry came out first. A savvy star got real estate for $ 12 million in 2011.

Perry reportedly bought a beachfront home from Southern California developer Scott Gillen, who completely transformed the build around 1960.

The result is a loft-like space with vast glass walls overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The Fab Pad has 2 floors, 4 bedrooms and a 3.5 sq ft 3.5 bathroom that can accommodate a lot of friends. The main level has an open living and dining area, a fireplace and beamed ceilings with sparkling views of the sea. The glass walls are fully open and the living area extends to the deck running the length of the house on both floors.

A wooden and steel staircase leads to a master suite on the lower floors with a sitting area, walk-in closet and luxurious bathroom.

The house also features an outdoor spa and a state-of-the-art home theater.

On the other hand, the deck has plenty of seats and fire pits, perfect for watching the sunset.

According to Douglas Elliman’s agent, Luis Robledo, who represented the buyer, the open floor plan plunged the buyer.

“Going through the front door, there are floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows that offer vast, fully open ocean views,” says Robledo. “Two decks at both levels (maximizing outdoor space) that span the length of the house were also very attractive. This is a perfect escape.”

Perry made the most of the beach pad as a personal vacation during a pandemic. He posted photos from the property to his Instagram account, hanging out on his deck and baking cookies in the kitchen.

Perry was for sale. It also launched a luxury penthouse in Los Angeles for $ 35 million in 2019. In 2017, he bought an “empty mansion” for $ 20 million, which occupies the entire 40th floor of the Wilshire Corridor’s Elite Century Building.

He refurbished the walls of velvet furniture, a huge master suite with views, and a place that looked like a home theater to his liking. The list is not currently on the market.

Now that he’s free from real estate concerns, the star’s new focus seems to be a lovely puppy.

Douglas Elliman’s Luis Robledo represented the buyer. Rodeo Realty’s Joshua Flagg has replaced the seller.
