Shinya Aoki defeats James Nakashima and returns to shape

Aoki went to work with a body kick in the early exchanges. He immediately grabbed one of Nakajima’s legs and tried to defeat the battle. They eventually clinched into the cage and neither man gained an advantage.

Lightweight separated and Aoki landed the right hook. Nakajima tried to react on the straight right side, but Japan’s South Poe lowered it at the perfect time and turned his back from the opponent’s standing position.

Nakajima had no power to prevent Aoki from fixing his body triangle and wrapping his forearm around his face. The neck crank was tight, and Americans tapped it almost instantly.

Aoki improved to 46-9-0-1, but despite achieving three consecutive victories, he downplayed the story of the title shot after that. Nakajima falls to 12-2 after losing a back-to-back battle.

Gadzhimurad Abdulaev moves to welterweight title battle

Former welterweight champion Zebaztian Cadestam has returned to play against Gazimrad Abdulkadir after a long furlough. It was a match between the former batting and the latter fighting. The final winner was the undefeated Russian.

Abdullahev caught a kick early in the fight and defeated Cadestam. After a while, he got the back of a Swedish fighter, and after a short quarrel, he was locked to the neck crank when the tap came at 2:09.

With the victory, Abdullahev rises to 6-0, establishing himself as a direct candidate for the welterweight title. Cadestam fell to 12-6 after losing a back-to-back battle for the first time in his career.
