Silent Hill creators work with the last guardian and gravity rush veteran to form a bokeh game studio

Creator of Silent Hill Keiichiro Toyama, along with industry veterans Kazunobu Sato and Junya Okura, announced the establishment of a new game studio called Bokeh Game Studio.

Sato is a former producer of 2016 and the three have a lot of attention games under their belts Last guardian Okura is the lead game designer for all three Gravity rush game. All three of them have previously worked together in the PS2 Survival Horror series siren (Known as Forbidden siren As a director, lead character designer, and lead game designer (in the UK).

The three men left Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and set up a new studio in August. Today’s announcement video outlines the vision of the new independent team and gives a quick glimpse of what they’re working on. Details haven’t been revealed yet, but it certainly looks like they’re playing with some potential monster designs. So, at least, it seems likely that you’re sticking to the survival horror genre.

Further interviews with Famitsu (found and translated by Gematsu) reveal that the team’s first title is the “original action-adventure game” released on various platforms, but for development. Expected to take 2-3 years. I don’t expect to hear too much about the game for a while.
