Slay Spire updates now on Switch (version 2.2.0) and patch notes

Mega Crit Games has updated the Switch version of Slay the Spire. The game is now version 2.2.0.

The latest updates to Slay the Spire include balancing, bug fixes, and more. For complete patch notes, proceed below.

  • The precision card has been buffed. Damage increased from 3-> 4.
  • Accuracy + card has been enhanced. Damage increased from 5-> 6.
  • The aggregate card has been buffed. Energy is obtained for every 6-> 4 cards.
  • The Aggregate + card has been buffed. Energy is obtained for every 5-> 3 cards.
  • The blade dance card has been buffed. 2-> 3 Shibu.
  • The blade dance + card has been buffed. 3-> 4 Shibu.
  • The phlebotomy card has been buffed. Energy gain increased from 1-> 2.
  • Bloodletting + card has been buffed. Energy gain increased from 2-3.
  • The dramatic entrance card has been buffed. Damage increased from 6-> 8.
  • Dramatic entrance + card has been buffed. Damage increased from 8-> 12.
  • Eviscerate the buffed card. Damage increased from 6-> 7.
  • The Eviscerate + card has been buffed. Damage increased from 8 to 9.
  • A good instinct card has been buffed. Blocks increased from 5-> 6.
  • Good Instincts + card has been buffed. Blocks have been increased from 8-> 9.
  • The hemokinesis card has been buffed. Damage increased from 14-> 15.
  • The hemokinesis card has been buffed. HP loss decreased from 3-> 2.
  • Hemokinesis + card has been buffed. Damage increased from 18-> 20.
  • The Fantasmar Killer Card has been buffed. The cost has been reduced from 2-> 1.
  • Fantas Markiller + card has been buffed. Cost reduced from 1-> 0.
  • The reflective card has been enhanced. Card draw increased from 1-> 2.
  • The Reflex + card has been buffed. Card draws have increased from 2-> 3.
  • Focus loss for reprogramming cards has been reduced from 2-> 1.
  • The Reprogram + card has changed. Loss of focus, strength, and agility have been changed to 1-2.
  • The Rupture + card has been buffed. The increase in strength increased from 1-> 2.
  • Rupture + card weakened. Energy cost 0-> 1.
  • The sadistic nature card has been buffed. Damage increased from 3-> 5.
  • Sadistic Nature + card has been buffed. Damage increased from 4-> 7.
  • The scrape card draws 3-> 4 cards.
  • Scrape + card has been buffed. Damage increased from 9-> 10.
  • Scrape + cards draw 4-> 5 cards.
  • Buffed the slice card. Damage increased from 5-> 6.
  • Slice + card has been buffed. Damage increased from 8 to 9.
  • The sneaky strike card has been buffed. Damage increased from 10-> 12.
  • The sneaky strike + card has been buffed. Damage increased from 14-> 16.
  • The Storm of Steel Card has been buffed. Cost reduced from 2-> 1.
  • The Storm of Steel + card has been buffed. Cost reduced from 2-> 1.
  • The Swift Strike Card has been enhanced. Damage increased from 6-> 7.
  • The Swift Strike + card has been buffed. Damage increased from 9-> 10.
  • You can now burst bursts properly.
  • Fixed an issue where drop kick cards would not glow under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where foreign influence cards would spoil the card’s rewards by affecting the seed.
  • Fixed an issue where the Grand Finale card would not glow under some conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where heel hook cards would not glow under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where the line below the score was always rendered (instead of fading in).
  • Fixed an issue where Watchers would not receive Stuffed or WellFed bonus scores.
  • Fixed unblocked power to allow players to get blocks with agility.
  • Fixed an issue where the sneaky strike card wouldn’t glow under some conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where the SpiritShield block value did not change under some conditions.
  • If you go very fast, the key to the final action may be skipped.
  • Increased line spacing for events when large text mode is on.
  • The buttons on the main menu panel have more space to accommodate larger localized text.
  • Adjusted various fonts to improve readability.
  • Merged and adjusted fonts to improve performance and memory usage.
  • Closing the single card pop-up or single relic pop-up clears the font texture to save memory.
  • Closing the leaderboard screen clears the font texture to save memory.
  • Clean up / share some code for death and victory screens.
