Someone is making a huge Star Wars mod for Fallout: New Vegas •

If there are two things I like on this planet, they are Star Wars and Fallout: New Vegas. You can imagine my excitement when I learned about this mod.

Created by Tank_Girl444 and Karim Najib, Star Wars: Open Worlds is a total conversion mod for Fallout: New Vegas. We aim to create 12 galaxy planets that players can explore and complete their own environment, story and character. It’s been in progress for at least three years, but it got a lot of attention when it was discovered by YouTuber JuiceHead earlier this week. And with dozens of videos showing progress so far, modders seem to be making good use of their years of development.

In the latest showcase below, you’ll explore a toxic planet called Felucia (easily mentioned in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith). There are many other videos from AT-AT combat to ship travel systems. If you are interested, it is worth browsing the channel.

According to, this mod allows players to choose from four different paths (dark side, light side, gray and sandbox). This is a decision that influences the direction, conclusions, and peers of the story. The mod also promises a detailed customization system, skills that can be upgraded as you progress, multiple factions, and a crafting system. Oh, if you feel a little inspired by the Mandalorian, there’s also a bounty hunter.

It sounds like a very ambitious mod, but the work done so far already looks incredible. I just hope that the modders aren’t biting more than they can, and that Disney won’t decide to intervene. There is no release date at this time, but in the meantime, you can keep track of your progress on Tank Girl’s YouTube channel or by joining the mod’s Discord server.
