Newcastle United announced in an official club statement that Steve Bruce has resigned as manager.
Bruce continued to take charge of the weekend’s defeat against Tottenham, which should come as no surprise following his recent acquisition at St. James’s Park.
Newcastle is looking for a new manager, but Bruce’s departure was confirmed this morning …
#NUFC You can see that Steve Bruce has left his position as head coach with mutual consent.
The club would like to thank Steve for his contributions and wish him happiness in the future.

Bruce will surely be replaced by the big name as the wealthy new owner of NUFC turned to ambitious goals such as Antonio Conte and Brendan Rodgers.
There was talk of negotiations with former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, but it’s still unclear when a new appointment will come.
Newcastle fans will be delighted to see Bruce’s back after a very disappointing job he did at the club, albeit in a difficult situation.
