Company-wide sales were 9,419 million yen (-13.1% year-on-year) and operating income was 1,699 million yen (up 34% year-on-year).
Online business sales, including mobile games, were 3,998 million yen (up 12.5% year-on-year) and sales were 975 million yen (up 94.8% year-on-year).
In the consumer business, which includes console games, sales were 3.9 billion yen (25.6% year-on-year) and sales were 1,111 million yen (up 26.9% year-on-year).
That said, the decline in consumer business sales and operating income is due to the inclusion of arcades affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Console and PC game performance has been defined as strong.
Existing mobile games such as Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link continued to perform well, and Ikki Tousen: Extra Burst went well.
We will continue stable operation, promote sales of existing mobile titles such as Senran Kagura New Link, and actively promote Ikki Tousen toward the end of the year.
In terms of consoles and PCs, “Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town” performed well in the west, contributing to profitability with repeat sales of old titles.
