Tata Steel Ltd. : Tata Steel will transfer shares in Processing Arm to TSDPL

Kolkata: Tata Steel holds shares in two companies on Friday TSDPL, A wholly owned subsidiary of the company as part of reorganizing the footprints of India. “… The company today transferred a 51% stake in Jamshedpur Continuous Annealing and Processing Company Private Ltd (JCAPCPL) And 50% of the shares it holds Tata BlueScope Steel Private Ltd From (TBSPL) Tata Steel Downstream Products Ltd (TSDPL) ”, stated in a regulatory filing.

According to the steelmaker, steps have been taken to reorganize the company’s Indian footprint into four clusters to promote scale, synergies, simplification and create value for all stakeholders. ..

The move will help integrate downstream steel processing services, he said.

As of March 31, 2020, JCAPCPL’s net worth was Rs 428.60, while TBSPL’s net worth was Rs 469.97.

TSDPL was created to provide the first steel service center solution to industrial customers.

Originally in 1997, Tata Steel of India and Ryerson Inc of the United States. Was founded as a joint venture, Tata Ryerson Ltd.

Tata Steel acquired all of Ryerson Inc’s shares in 2009.

TSDPL processed 2.6 million tonnes of steel in 2019.
