Tesla’s Sentry Mode is a feature that allows your car to monitor your surroundings and record footage if someone or something gets too close to your car.
New features included in Software Update 2021.36.8 extend this to allow users to view remotely through Tesla’s camera when in Sentry mode from the Tesla iOS app.
“You can now remotely view your car’s surroundings when parked to see how safe your environment is before you return to your car. Live cameras are end-to-end encrypted and inaccessible from Tesla.[コントロール]>[安全とセキュリティ]To enable or disable by tapping ,, “The release notes for this feature say:
It’s pretty nice to be able to see if the surroundings of the car are safe before getting in the car, but this feature is an overall cool way to investigate what’s happening in a particular area and is basic. Turn Tesla into a mobile security camera with remote access.

But it gets better. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he could use this feature to speak through car speakers, “perfect for pranks.” Imagine a scenario where a Tesla owner is chatting like this in a parking lot. This is probably the most dystopian scene we can imagine.
This feature currently only works on iOS (requires Tesla mobile app version 4.21 or later) and requires Tesla’s premium connectivity. This gives Tesla owners access to high-bandwidth internet for $ 10 per month.
