TIP Trailer Services has raised over £ 70,000 for its “Fat Bottomed Boys & Girls” (FBB & G) 2021 Balearic Charity Bike Ride in two nominated charities, breaking the previous record set by the TIP team on previous charity bikes. I announced that. In fact, the FBB & G team has raised over £ 375,000, a charity-worthy one, over the past seven years.
“With the global challenges of the last 18 months in mind, from everyone who participated, from the team members themselves to TIP colleagues, suppliers, and friends and family who have supported us all the time. It was an incredible effort at this year’s event, “said Mike Furnival, Managing Director of TIP Trailer Services in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Mike goes on to say: “We also need to pay tribute to the support we received from the great commercial vehicle industry sponsors who donated an incredible amount of money to those who are less fortunate than us, such as by arranging logistics and providing cycling equipment. The support I received continues to amaze me. On behalf of both charities, I am truly grateful for TIP’s excellent support from this year’s sponsors. “
In the tough three days of September, the FBB & G team completed a 300km ride and overcame a test route around the Balearic Islands in Mallorca. This year, donations were split between Stoke-on-Trent’s Donalise Children’s Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Association, a long-term beneficiary charity closely associated with TIP.
