Four celebrities in the truck industry will be inducted into the American Truck Industry Leaders Hall of Fame on Friday, October 15.
The first class consists of:
- Cressy Lyle Cummins, founder of Cummins Engine.
- Mack Trucks, Inc. Founder of Jack and Gus Mack
- Owner-Operator Independent Driver Association
- Dave Nemo, longtime Sirius XM RoadDog radio host
On the day of the event, the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce will also hold a ribbon-cut ceremony inducted into the ATIL Hall of Fame.
The first ATIL Hall of Fame ceremony will be held at the ATHS Home Office in Kansas City, along with the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the American Truck Historical Society. High-ranking local and state officials are invited along with truck industry leaders.
The ATIL Hall of Fame is located within the American Truck Historical Society of Kansas City.
“This is a great opportunity for visitors to learn about both the history and pioneers of this great industry through both the ATHS and ATIL Hall of Fame,” said Tom Mullen, Chairman of the ATIL Hall of Fame.
