LFA is on the verge of a milestone event.
The unofficial UFC and Bellator Feeder League will host their 100th event, LFA100, at the Hartmann Arena in Park City on Friday, February 19th. The promotion was announced on Wednesday. The event’s main card will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass after qualifying on Facebook.
LFA was launched in January 2017 following the merger of Resurrection Fighting Alliance and Legacy FC. Since then, LFA has promoted a battle involving many competitors who have continued to sign contracts between the UFC and Bellator.
UFC flyweight Jimmy Flick was the last man to hold the £ 125 promotion title, but he was sent off after a UFC contract-winning performance in the Dana White Contender series.
There are five 125-pound champions in LFA history. None of them had to put out a successful title defense to get a call to the big show. Roberto Sanchez, Casey Kenney, Brandon Royval and Brandon Moreno were all signed by the UFC before they were belted.
Participating in the Flyweight Title Challenger at LFA 100 is the Middleweight Tournament Semifinal between DWCS graduates. Anthony Adams (8-2) and Gregory Rodriguez (7-3). The winner will take on Josh Fremd (7-1). Win LFA98 on Friday, LFA middleweight title later this year.
The current LFA100 lineup is as follows.
- Victor Alta Milano (8-1) vs Carlos Mota (5-0) – Free Flyweight Title
- Anthony Adams (8-2) vs. Gregory Rodriguez (7-3) – Middleweight Tournament Semifinals
- Stephen Nguyen (6-1) vs. Reichelle Dewze (8-1)
