The second day of the camp begins answering some questions about the direction of Reefs – NHL Sports

The second day of the ice part of the training camp is complete and you’re ready to anticipate tomorrow’s first preseason game. It’s been a year when many Reefs fans are already planning to treat the regular season like a preseason, and the predictions may be wrong, but anyway, the point (good or bad) is tomorrow. Is to see Reef Hockey again. Reefs / Marlies / etc. A grab bag that makes up the lineup card.

As with the first day, there are some notable points from that day on. Let’s start with the line rush.

The first thing to mention is that they are almost the same.Return Wayne Simmons So he had to insert it somewhere, but not much to see here, except that Simmons joined the Enval and Semenov lines.

Perhaps one of these two groups will make up the lineup with Montreal tomorrow night. Seeing some of the Group 2 PTO people makes me even more excited. I believe Group 1 could be the first one.

The new defensive coach Travis Dermot, And he couldn’t choose a better mentor than Brody to learn how to play the right side as a left-handed shot. It’s great to see the dermots get that level of comfort and play with them Morgan Lily Sandin and Brody are also great ideas, so this season they are paired.

That’s great when they play Lightning, but you know that Comp still has to show up against Sens, Sabers, and Red Wings, right? I’m a kid, I’m a kid Really, I’m really interested in seeing how things sway here, as he could be the most interesting acquisition of the summer, even if he was first panned. Keep in mind that last year’s acquisition of Bogosian wasn’t a big deal for many, and he won many.

This is a really difficult fight for Nick Robertson, so I hope he won’t be beaten too much unless he makes a roster of Reefs from the camp. The fact that he does not need an exemption, as well as the fact that he has to compete with Hosan and Gusef for work in addition to Ritchie, Mirrlees and Banting, really he really, not to mention Carfoot, Simmons. I disagree with, Engvall, and what you know, I really hope he’s okay to start with Marlies.

Manner acts as a bumper, and Nilander appears to reside on half the wall. This change could make Manner more creative, and Nilander offers more powerful shooting options when he crashes the net on a royal pass or on a rebound. Theoretically. As long as there is room for creativity, power play should improve.

Finally, it should be a comfortable food for many who have sought this for years. It will be interesting to see what this iteration of Reefs looks like on ice.
