Everyone knows that a decent anime series is defined by its opening track, which Square Enix and production studios Domerica and Shin-Ei Animation offer.
The opening track is called Teenage City Riot and is run by ALI (surprisingly short for Alien Liberty International). “As a band from Shibuya, I’m honored to be able to play a fanfare with Shibuya on the battlefield.” Leo Imamura says, The band’s vocalist. “Please continue to check in 2021!”
The outline of the anime series is as follows.
Nek wakes up in the middle of Shibuya’s bustling scrambled intersection, and I don’t remember how he got there. He knows little that he was taken to another layer known as Underground (UG). Nek, who doesn’t want to participate in the mysterious “Reapers Game”, needs to team up with a girl named Shiki to survive. Together, they complete missions and defeat monsters known as “noise”, gradually revealing the essence of this twisted game.
If you’re more hungry for the news of The World Ends with You, don’t worry. At the time of writing, Square Enix’s official website has only a few hours left to count down, and the series when it expires.
