There is a new Cyberpunk 2077 mod that you can download to your PC and it adds a healthcare system. The system pays a premium to a team of trained in-game medical professionals to bring them back to life immediately.
A mod by Nexus Mods user 3nvy, Death Alternative avoids the death screen by offering the option to revive in a nearby hotel room. No one knows which room, but the time it takes to treat and the vortex required to activate the package depends on the tier selected. Silver (10,000), Gold (25,000, Platinum (50,000)) are available to restore 25%, 50%, or 100% of your life, respectively.
The mechanism is as follows. Head to the Trauma Team Building at MedCenter and choose one of the three plans available there. There is no upfront cost, so you can choose Platinum Tier if you want. When you die, you will be asked if you want to revive or stop the old-fashioned way. Look at the death screen and reload the previous save. If you have enough Eddie in your pocket for the plan you choose, it will be resurrected in your hotel room. Due to lack of funds, the trauma team will cancel your insurance.
Whatever your health insurance premium, you can revive yourself as many times as you can, as long as Eddie can afford it.
The mod is still in the “early stage”, but 3nvy plans to work on features such as debuffing at death, waking up in the trash with all gear removed, and exploring to get it back. (If insurance is not enabled)).
This mod is currently available on PC, but may appear in official games. Developer CD Projekt Red recently hired a group of modders to work on both the backend and mod support for Cyberpunk 2077.
In another Cyberpunk 2077 news, CDPR said in its September 1 earnings report that the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S editions of the game could miss the “target date” of “late 2021”. ..
