Three Barcelona players are scheduled to depart in January – Soccer Sports

An incredibly exciting month awaits Barcelona in January. The Catalans are welcoming a new president, and the team is almost certain to change at least a little until summer by the time the windows close. And while we can potentially expect some arrivals, the exit will once again be the central stage of the market.

According to RAC1’s Gerard Romero, there are three players expected to move in January. First, Carles Aleña hasn’t had enough chances from Ronald Koeman, despite his apparent qualities and talents.

Of course, the midfield position is seemingly well covered and should take into account the fact that it significantly limits the game time of fringe players. The same source, initially a loan deal, mentions Getafe as a potential destination for young La Masia jewelry.

Aleña wants to go out, but seems to want to do so temporarily. You may leave the door open and go further. However, Getafe wants to cover the player’s full salary and, if that happens, include a purchase option in the transaction.

The second player on the chopping list is Matheus Fernandez. This is a bit surprising given that young players have only recorded a total of 17 minutes on their first team since they recently arrived at the club.

It seems unlikely that the number will rise soon, so Barcelona will lend him as well. But in his case, there’s nothing concrete yet, and it’s unclear which clubs are interested in getting his service.

Finally, there is Junior Firpo, who has not yet been completely settled on the team despite Jordi Alba’s recent injury problems. That said, the left back is particularly impressive in the match against Eibar, and it must be said that he provided one assist in his eight appearances in Barcelona so far in 2020/21.

But in his case, another Liga club is showing interest, and the Catalans are considering a permanent transfer. At this point, it’s not yet known who this unnamed side is, but it seems that if Firpo leaves the club, he will stay in Spain.

In any case, Barcelona is set to experience a very interesting January transfer window, and the team could be decimated again by the end.
