3. Week 12 vs Chicago Bears
On Thanksgiving Day, the Lions had a legitimate chance to defeat the swelling bear. They led 14-13 into the fourth quarter. However, the Lions also broke the last-minute situation on the sidelines and fields, and the Bears effectively frozen the game with a drive of more than eight and a half minutes.
Bears kicker Cairo Santos scored a 28-yard field goal in the final play. Detroit was the third (and thankfully last) to lose the match in that way during the 2021 season (final field goal).
