Thunder Rosa provides up-to-date information on whether she will fight MMA again – WWE Sports

NWA and AEW star Thunder Rosa was a recent guest of Taylor Wilde Podcast Wild Discuss her MMA career discontinued due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The former NWA World Women’s Championship finally fought for Combine Americas in 2019, revealing that she set up three more matches before the pandemic stopped things. The highlights of the interview are:

She says three more battles were planned, but COVID happened.

I fought in 2019 and planned three more fights, but a COVID occurred. As your wrestling career grows, you have to decide whether you want to keep fighting or focus on 100% wrestling. I must be honest with myself in that decision. I have no intention of quitting MMA training. I will not stop training in MMA because it creates an edge and is one of the things that makes it different from many girls on the circuit. I’m still conditioning and ready to go in case I decide to say “I want to fight again before signing someone”.

How difficult is MMA’s financial situation:

Financially, it’s very difficult. At MMA, a large company, you can win sponsorships of 10K or more. Besides that, many men and women I know have full-time jobs and do MMA. It’s a difficult life. Training and camping costs, strength and conditioning, diet, physiotherapy, etc. all need to be taken into account.
