UFC Vegas 22’s joint main event took place after Jamahal Hill tested positive for COVID-19

The UFC Vegas 22 Fight Card is looking for a new joint main event after the light heavyweight division leans between nos. 14th place was Paul Craig. As a result of a positive COVID-19 in the hill test, Jamahal Hill in 15th place was pulled.

Hill announced on Twitter that the test was positive. Despite his infection, he remains optimistic and hopes to fight Craig once medically cleared.

Craig also posted on social media about the battle pulled out of the card.

Craig has won two consecutive victories and recently finished the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and MMA Legend Mauricio “Shogun” Lua at UFC 255.

Craig has also won a notable submission victory over Kennedy Enzichuk and light heavyweight candidate Magomed Ankalaev.

Still undefeated 8-0, Hill is a former UFC light heavyweight title challenger and has won an impressive victory over division classic Ovince Saint Preux.

Since its announcement on social media, the two light heavyweight candidates have swapped playful spines back and forth.

Craig says he’s “angry” about the fight being pulled, but “Bearju” admitted that the light heavyweight match was postponed at a later date.
