Ubisoft has rebranded its Uplay + subscription service as Ubisoft + and added multi-platform support. The move will take place shortly after Ubisoft announces that it will dissolve both Uplay and its Ubisoft Club rewards program and rebuild it as Ubisoft Connect.
The revamped Ubisoft + service will continue to provide access to over 100 PC titles for $ 14.99 per month, but will eventually add support for Amazon Luna and Stadia at no additional cost.
In particular, Ubisoft + also offers cross-platform progression for upcoming titles, including: Assassin’s Creed Valhara On the first day, that is, users can start the game on their PC before resuming where they left off in Stadia or Luna.
Ubisoft will test Luna support during beta testing in the United States starting November 10. For Stadia, subscribers will be able to play some Ubisoft games on Google’s streaming platform “by the end of the year.”
“Ubisoft +’s vision is to give players access to their favorite Ubisoft games anytime, anywhere,” said Alexia Blume, Ubisoft’s Associate Director of Subscriptions, in a press release.
“This beta period for Stadia and Amazon Luna is still in its infancy. We’re excited to offer subscribers the opportunity to check out the premium editions of their fall lineup so they can play on multiple platforms with a single subscription. think.”
