The ranking takes into account the wins and losses of fighters, the quality of competition, the end rate / advantage, and the frequency of battles.
Fighters will not be eligible to be ranked after being suspended for 24 months due to injury, drug / action suspension, contract dispute, or voluntary suspension.
Fighters that offer drug / action suspension are eligible to be ranked unless they have been active for more than 24 months.
To the best of our ability, fighters are ranked in their major weight class. Catchweight fights and matches outside the fighter’s main weight class can have a positive or negative impact on rankings. However, a person without a title can only be ranked in one weight class at a time, and in most cases will not be ranked in a new weight class until the first fight with that weight.
