For those who missed it, Ubisoft has released the latest update to Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, bringing the game to version 1.04 on PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as PCs.
This patch gives PS5 and Xbox Series X | S players the option to adjust the graphics settings for the sequel, instead either select Valhalla’s 60 FPS performance mode or improve visual fidelity.

The 1.04 update is packed with lots of fixes and minor changes, many of which slip under your radar (unless you color the patch notes here, of course). However, one of the major changes not mentioned in the PS5 change log is the trophy fix that fans wanted.
If you are one of the Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla players who have put a copy of the game on their PS4 and then upgraded to PS5, you can see the trophy progress completely reset. Valhalla has two separate trophy lists for both versions of the game, even if free intergenerational upgrades and intergenerational save transfers are allowed.
When I jumped in to attack some villages last night, a few minutes later I noticed that the PS5 trophy suddenly started popping out. Assassin’s Creed Valhara is likely to read the cloud data and unlock the trophies already earned on PlayStation 4.
This is great news for several reasons. Trophy hunters who didn’t want to leap from generation to generation know that storage progresses and trophy data migrates seamlessly, so they can do so now. I’m happy that I don’t have to launch a new game just to redo the first few story-related trophies.
What’s more, anyone who already has Assassin Lead Valhara Platinum on PS4 can quickly double the number of trophies. Take advantage of the free next-generation upgrades on your PS5, download Valhalla, launch new games and watch those trophies appear. mischief.
