Orlando – There was nothing unusual in the first five holes of Victor Perez’s third round at Arnold Palmer Invitational on Saturday.
Then things got messed up.
It all started to turn sideways for Perez on par 5 6th A hole that embraces a large lake. Perez hit the first ball into the ball. Then drive another ball into the water. Finally, after finding the land in the teabox on the fifth shot, he hit another ball into the water.
After making a third penalty drop, he found a greenside bunker on the eighth shot. He needed three more shots (a putt just inside four feet to end the disaster) to make a six-fold bogey 11.
It wasn’t the worst score I’ve ever had in the hall. It’s not a long shot. In 1998, John Daly combed 18.

20 single hole scores, the highest ever on the PGA Tour
In honor of Perez, he stepped into 7th place on the tee, 201 yards, par 3 on the next hole, hitting an iron up to 18 feet and making a birdie.
It is 11-2 of the scorecard.
Perez had 6 overs in the round after the 7th hole and 5 overs in the tournament.
