Video: Bronson Reed returns to NXT – WWE Sports

The “huge” Bronson Reed is back in action at WWE NXT.

In this week’s USA Network NXT episode, Reed returned to the ring and defeated Ashante “Zai” Adonis fairly quickly in squash.

Reed dominated Adonis on strike for the finish and then dropped a sentry to him. Reed climbed to the top and ended Adonis with a big tsunami splash. Now that Reed is back, WWE is focusing on the “huge” billing of his nickname.

Prior to this week’s return match, Reed’s final NXT TV action took place on October 21st. He defeated Austin Theory with a pinfall in a single match that night and soon defeated Theory with a pinfall in a rematch. Prior to that, Reed played in five Gauntlet Eliminators on September 23, when Kyle O’Reilly won. He submitted to NXT Super Tuesday Night 1 on September 1st and lost to Timothy Thatcher, but broke the theory in the first match of the series the following week at NXT Super Tuesday Night 2.

Triple H visited Twitter and commented after the lead returned.

“Return to a large ring. @ Bronsonreedwwe # WWENXT,” he writes.

The lead is “Takeover time. #COLOSSAL”

Reed also used Twitter to say he hopes fans enjoyed his return and his new mullet.

He writes: A huge thing is back! #WWENXT “

Stay tuned for more details on lead planning at NXT. Below are tweets related to Wednesday’s return video.
