Bibiani AraujoESPN 20’s UFC show was dominant.

For most of the 15-minute match, Araujo (10-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) outperformed the former UFC Women’s Flyweight Title Challenger. Roxanne Modafferi On the way to a unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-26).

The women’s flyweight match was part of the ESC N20 main card UFC at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. It was aired on ESPN.

Throughout the battle, Araujo showed differences in skills between himself and Modaferi (25-18 MMA, 4-6 UFC) in various areas. In particular, the gap in the hit level of the two fighters was fully displayed.

In the second half of Round 1, Araujo appeared to be approaching submission. However, the horn rang and the sequence never played completely.

In Round 2, Modaferi landed her best attack that night – the right hand that temporarily surprised Arauho. But a second later, Araujo returned to control.

Round 3 was about the same, with Araujo going down the road with Modaferi on his feet and on the ground. The late Araujo takedown has already stamped a one-sided performance. The swollen and bloody modaferi showed her characteristic toughness and veteran grit on the way to the final horn.

With the victory, Araujo turns the only unanimous decision victory over Montana de La Rosa in September into a streak. Araúho has lost only once since 2017-a unanimous defeat to Jessica Eye in December 2019.

As for Modaferi, her losing streak and winning are alternating. Since returning to the UFC with Nicommon Thani in the title battle in December 2017, Modaferi has never experienced a streak or skid defeat.
