Unofficial videos show what an upgraded version of Zelda looks like, as rumors about the Switch Pro claim to be released this year.

Nintendo seems more likely to announce a more powerful version of the switch this year, but fans say Switch Pro, there are few clues as to how the game uses it exactly.

According to last year’s rumors, Nintendo has already asked developers to make their games 4K capable, and if Switch Pro can output at that resolution, classic games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild could be updated. It seems to be highly sexual.

Still, it doesn’t look as good as the video created by this fan running in 8K using ray tracing, but it does provide an idea of how well the game can be brushed up on more powerful hardware.

In the video below, I’m using a PC emulator to run with settings equivalent to the “Ultra Graphic” settings, beyond what even the Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 can manage.

YouTube Channel Digital Dreams specializes in displaying games running with graphic settings not possible in native format. The Korok Forest section at the beginning of the video has frame rate issues with regular switches.

Current consoles do not allow native 8K output for graphics-intensive games. Also, few people own a TV that can display it.

Ray tracing is possible with the new consoles, but of course it’s unlikely that the Switch Pro will be able to use this technology (although technically it’s already used by the current Switch’s Crysis).

It’s no surprise that Switch Pro isn’t running at native 4K resolution, or is upscaled from low resolution instead.

Given the form factor of the switch, battery life, heat generation, and price difficulties mean that Nintendo can’t do much. But any upgrade would be welcome. From this video, it’s clear that the definitive Breath of the Wild will be beautiful.
