Weather affects corn and soybean harvest in Nebraska

Another week of rain and cool weather delayed the harvest of Nebraska corn and soybeans.

According to the latest crop progress report, corn yields are 82%, 10% behind last year.

It contains 95% of soybeans, which is 5% behind last year’s pace.

55% of winter wheat was rated as excellent, and 94% of the crops came out.

Eighty-five percent of the sorghum was harvested.

Pasture and range conditions are rated as 17% -good-to-excellent.
