Weekend Reading: Christmas Crackers

What caught my eye this week.

I Here are some valuable links to stuffed obstacles to help you survive your Christmas holidays. But I probably struggled with how to introduce the last post of the year.

COVID? It’s too miserable, endless, unsolved, and depressing.

Brexit? Same as above, with the knob turned on.

Even regaining this year’s fuss is a daunting task for investment blogs.

Some stories give Monevator Among other blogs, I nod that they play a part in their success. Talk about early Christmas gifts! I’m glad to hear that it helped us move some lives in the right direction.

Indeed, thank you for the goodness of the very malicious internet. Some of us spent most of the year alone. But I rarely feel that way, as this blog reaches a huge audience of three-quarters in a year.

Monevator It’s essentially a design that needs a simple message and updates, but it’s still finding a readership. We hope that in 2021 we will all spend less time in front of the screen, but please continue to do so.

Until then, have a great Christmas in a dire situation. Maybe call a lonely friend?

I continue to think that the real victims and countermeasures of the virus (again, like Brexit) can be counted over decades rather than months. But when it comes to the consequences, the worst is almost behind us.

The world economy could make a fuss in 2021.
