The main report coming this week is a preliminary estimate of GDP for the fourth quarter and new home sales in December. Other key indicators include personal income and spending in December and Case-Shiller home prices in November.
For manufacturing, a manufacturing survey of the Dallas, Richmond and Kansas City Fed will be published.
The FOMC will meet this week and no policy changes are expected at this meeting.

9:00 am: FHFA Home Price Index In November. This was originally a GSE-only repeat sale, but it also has an expanded index.
This graph shows year-over-year changes in the Nominal Seasonally Adjusted National Index, Composite 10, and Composite 20 Indexes through the latest report (Composite 20 launched in January 2000).
The consensus is that the Comp 20 index will increase by 8.1% year-on-year.

8:30 am: Orders for durable consumer goods In December. The consensus is a 0.9% increase in durable consumer goods.
2 pm: FOMC Conference Announcement.. No policy changes are planned for this meeting.
2:30 pm: Federal Reserve Board of Governors Jerome Powell A press conference will be held following the announcement of the FOMC.

8:30 am: Gross Domestic Product, Q4 2020 (Advance estimate). The consensus is that real GDP increased by 4.3% annually in the fourth quarter.
8:30 am: First weekly unemployment insurance claim The report will be published. The consensus is to drop from 900,000 last week to 880,000.

11:00 AM: Kansas City Fed Manufacturing Survey In January. This is the end of the January Regional Manufacturing Survey.

8:30 AM ET: Personal income and expenses In December. The consensus is that personal income will increase by 0.1% and personal spending will decrease by 0.4%. And for the core PCE price index to rise 0.1%.
9:45 am: Chicago Purchasing Manager Index In January. The consensus will be a read from 48.2 to 48.5 in December.
10 am: Pending Home Sales Index In December. The consensus is a 0.6% decrease in the index.
10 am: University of Michigan Consumer Emotion Index (Last January). The consensus is to read 79.2.
