Wentworth point development designed for a new way of life

Buyers place more emphasis on local green spaces, flexible floor plans, and holiday lifestyles than ever before.

Over the last 18 months, there has been a clear shift in buyer preferences across Australia, with home offices, on-site equipment, local parks and waterways increasingly at the top of the list of essentials.

Angus Moore, an economist at realestate.com.au, said new developments will also be in the spotlight as buyers’ checklists and preferences change.

“We’ve seen a big change in premium people who put extra bedrooms,” says Moore. “Since people are less focused on living in the city, we have also seen a transition to a sort of tree change and sea change.”

Wentworth point appeal

Located on the banks of the Parramatta River, about 13 kilometers west of the Sydney CBD, Wentworth Point is gaining attention as buyers prioritize space and lifestyle over near the CBD.

According to Moore, views per list of realestate.com.au units will increase by 26% year-over-year until October 2021, making buyers attractive for waterside lifestyles, connectivity and affordability. I consider it to be a good combination.

“There are many great lifestyle elements very close (around Wentworth Point),” Moore says. “Moreover, you can get much more space at less cost than in the city center, but commuting is still easy.”

Wentworth Point is home to a variety of well-established restaurants, bars and shops, with daily necessities in the immediate vicinity.

But what really makes this area stand out is its surroundings.

“It’s one of the few waterfront suburbs in western Sydney,” says Sam Erbanna, project director at Wentworth Point’s One The Waterfront distributor, Labor.

“But there’s one more thing that most riverfront areas don’t have. It’s acres of park land.

“People want to be able to take a walk outside the house, go out with their kids, or work from home in the atmosphere of a park. And at Wentworth Point, they are 20 minutes. Not far away. Literally at your door. “

Flexible floor plan

According to data from realestate.com.au, the demand for larger homes is skyrocketing as Australians stay home for long periods of time.

Wentworth Point Apartments One the waterfront Nigel Farquhar, Head of Development at Piety Group, offers a variety of spacious floor plans that appeal to young families, first-time owners and downsizers as well.

Extra space means more flexibility to turn your room into a spare bedroom, gym, or home office.

Another distinguishing feature is the winter garden on the balcony. This allows residents to dine outdoors in any weather while enjoying the surrounding scenery.

“We’ve built seven buildings so far, all with stunning views of Sydney Olympic Park or the north side of Bay Park from Beneron Parkway,” says Farquhar.

Community connections

Travel bans have been applied for most of the last two years, and it’s no wonder that many Australians have embraced the spirit of maximizing their vacation at home.

At ONE the Waterfront, the combination of the location of the Parramatta River and the vast green space surrounding it creates a resort-style atmosphere, Farquhar explains.

“It’s on the edge of a square, a bay with a beautiful entrance,” says Farquhar. “There is a tree-lined avenue lined with local shops and restaurants, leading to a place called Bay Park, a corner of Wentworth Point.”

According to Farquhar, the award-winning parks, water park features, and riverside paths stand out, but there’s still much to do in the community.

“We also built a community club called Club One, which consists of a movie theater, a game room, and a pool. Tables, kitchens, dining spaces, “he says.

NS Community base pulse The club is made up of A gym, yoga studio, tennis courts and swimming pool are also available on site for residents. There is also a rooftop sky garden for hosting dinner parties and events.

Amanda Panetta, Piety’s head of marketing, added that there is a free shuttle service that takes residents to nearby stations. Above that is a pedestrian bridge that takes you to the main shopping centers on Rhodes. There are plenty of great restaurants, cinemas, transportation links and shops here, such as DFO and IKEA.

“In general, when people try to find an apartment, they want the train station to be just below the road and the bus to be right next to it. It has all the connectivity, but It feels like a small resort, “says Panetta.

“When I’m at home, I feel like I’m on vacation. Living on the waterfront gives me that complete package.”
