Will Worms Rumble appear on Xbox and Nintendo Switch? –

Worms Rumble is finally available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, transforming the series of tactical 2D genocide into a bold multiplayer shooter.

So far, Team17’s latest entry in the long-running series seems to be declining relatively well, with Worms Rumble sitting on an average of 67 on OpenCritic. One of the most powerful features of the game is how to enable cross-platform play across all current versions. A PC player that can team up and play against players on the PlayStation console.

However, as previous Worms games appeared on Microsoft and Nintendo systems, some fans in the series are asking if Worms Rumble will be on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and Nintendo Switch.

Developer and publisher Team17 hasn’t yet seen if Worms Rumble will be available elsewhere or will remain locked on the PlayStation and PC.

On the surface, there is no reason Team17 wants to avoid these platforms. The Xbox family of consoles goes beyond the ability to run Worms Rumble, and cross-play between Sony and Microsoft systems is possible, as seen in games such as Fortnite, Dead By Daylight, Rocket League, and Dauntless.

The same applies to the Nintendo Switch. This seems to be a very good candidate for Worms Rumble. Although not as powerful as current or last generation games, we’ve seen many large multiplayer games jump to Nintendo’s handhelds.

There are several possible reasons why Worms Rumble didn’t show up on other consoles at launch. With PlayStation as the market leader, Team17 can simply test the body of water rather than working on the development and ongoing support of multiple versions of the game.

Also, the fact that Worms Rumble is the headline game for this month’s PlayStation Plus product cannot be ignored. It’s unconfirmed, but it’s possible that Sony and Team17 have some kind of exclusive deal (perhaps similar to Fall Guys on PS4?).

Worms Rumble Guide – 7 important tips and tricks to win

In our review, Gareth gave Worms Rumble 7 out of 10.

Purists may ridicule Worms Rumble, but I’ve found the reinventing of Team 17 to be a welcome change in the direction of the series. Real-time action caught up in the Battle Royale genre, combined with the horrifying and explosive world of worms, will entertain here, but to become multiple mainstays, both strategy and player progress. Need to be deeper in terms of.

Hopefully you’ll see Worms Rumble wriggling on more platforms in 2021.
