William Regal teases NXT changes – WWE Sports

It looks like it could make a big difference to the WWE NXT brand.

Tonight’s NXT Takeover: In Your House covered several segments where NXT General Manager William Regal and Security must separate superstars. In the early hours of the day’s parking segment, The Way and Kyle O’Reilly claimed that Pete Dunne and NXT champion Karrion Kross fought behind the scenes late at night. Regal and his security team also had to stop NXT Women’s Championship Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai from fighting with Shotsy Blackheart and Ember Moon before the main event.

In the Wild Takeover main event, Cross retained O’Reilly, Dan, Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole in a deadly five-way. At the finish, O’Reilly fainted with the submission of a cross jacket. After the match, Mackenzie Mitchell caught up with Regal behind the scenes on his way out of the office to the parking lot. Mackenzie asked Regal what he thought of the show.

Sober Legal said, “It’s been seven years since I became GM of NXT, and I’ve never seen so many bedlams. It’s a complete madness. I think it’s a time of change.”

Legal left because he wondered what Mitchell meant for NXT.

We haven’t yet announced what WWE has for the NXT brand, but we’ll keep you up to date. Tuesday’s NXT episode on USA Network will feature a fallout from tonight’s show and potential updates to the Regal Teaser.

Stay tuned for more details. Below are some shots of tonight’s deadly 5-way main event from the Capitol Wrestling Center at Orlando’s WWE Performance Center and the legal segment.
