World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is now live

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is officially released. Players who queue up for server access early should hopefully already play. The latest WoW expansion will take place in Shadowlands, which has five new zones. The biggest change in quality of life is the level squish, which returns the maximum level to 60.

Another big gameplay addition is four “contract” players who can participate in the afterlife. Whether it’s Killian, Bencer, Necrolord, or Nightfay, each covenant is associated with a different zone. Players choose to join after reaching the maximum level, each with its own rewards, Covenant-specific abilities, transmogs, and more.Wow: Shadowlands was originally scheduled for release on October 27th, but with feedback from players, Blizzard has announced that it will postpone the expansion to this day for additional polish. The first Shadowlands raid, Castle Nasria, will be released on December 8th, so players will have two weeks to get used to the new content.

The ten bosses that make up the raid “take the player to the center of the Sire Denathrius hideout in Rivendress — with the start of Shadowlands Season 1.”
