The yellow XPEL color is found on both the Texas Motor Speedway doubleheader # 2 Penske-Chevrolet on May 1st, 212 laps Genesys 300 and May 2nd, 248 laps XPEL 375.
XPEL coloring will reappear in IndyCar’s second race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on August 14th.
“We are proud that our partnership with XPEL will continue to grow based on IndyCar’s presence,” said Roger Penske. “XPEL can help you reach your business goals by connecting with fans of the NTT IndyCar Series. Josef was a great representative of the company on and off the truck.
“We look forward to continued success with the XPEL and # 2 Dallara-Chevrolet teams this season.”
New Garden won the pole and finished third in XPEL’s first race as a primary sponsor in Texas in 2020.
“Last year, the XPEL brand made a perfect IndyCar debut with Team Penske and Josef Newgarden,” said XPEL CEO Ryan Pape. “I’m looking forward to seeing Joseph race in Race 3 driving the # 2 XPEL IndyCar this year, and I’m especially looking forward to seeing him race in the XPEL 375. “
“I was a customer of XPEL before I became a partner of Team Penske’s # 2 Chevrolet,” says New Garden. “They are top-notch companies that offer top-notch products, and Team Penske’s support was great.
“We certainly work hard to bring them victory in their home state with XPEL375.”
