Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Box Office: Sets the stage in Week 1, now aims to make the most of the open 2nd week :Bollywood Box Office

With an advantage of an open fortnight for itself, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has a job in hand to set the stage in the first week and then make the most of the second week. Yes, though there was no new Bollywood release when it hit the screens, it had to contend with both Oppenheimer and Barbie which had done rather well in their first week and hence a spillover was on the cards.

That’s the reason why the opening day was impacted, but ever since then the film has come on its own with rapid rise over the rest of the weekend and then very good stability during the weekdays. In fact, it was the base set on Monday and Tuesday with collections in excess of Rs. 7 crores each, which set the stage for the Karan Johar directed family drama to flourish. Post that, Wednesday too came rather close to Rs. 7 crores and now with Thursday standing at Rs. 6.21 crores, all one waits to see is that how much closer to that mark does it collect today as well.

Rest assured, there would be very good jump on Saturday and then Sunday will certainly see a double-digit score. All of that would ensure that the collections add on to Rs. 73.33 crores that the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer has accumulated so far.
